Anthony Guinta

Tony joined Homrich Berg in 1999 providing wealth management services to a diverse client base of families and individuals. His expertise is primarily in financial planning, including estate and income tax, charitable giving, and family foundation/trust management.

Prior to joining HB, Tony was a member of the private client services group of Arthur Andersen, providing investment and financial planning advice to corporate executives. He also served as tax manager and controller for Market Street Trust Company, the private trust company providing family office services to the descendants of the founders of Corning, Inc.

Tony was frequently quoted in the financial media, including articles in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Fortune Small Business, Investment News, Atlanta Business Chronicle, Financial Planning, Consumer Reports Money Advisor, Chicago Sun Times, and Georgia Trend. He also has authored articles for publications, including Business to Business and Nerdwallet’s Advisor Voices.

Tony received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, N.Y.

Drew Klepchick, CFP®

Drew joined Homrich Berg in March 2008 and leads the firm’s office in northern Atlanta. In addition, Drew is a Board of Director and Investment Committee member.

Prior to joining HB, Drew founded two successful businesses. In 1988, Drew launched Creative Financial Group, a financial advisory firm that grew to manage $1 billion in investment assets. In 1998, Drew co-founded Robert Andrews Securities, a full-service brokerage dealer where he served as president. In 2001, both businesses were sold to Synovus, a diversified financial services holding company. From 2005-2007, Drew held the position of president and CEO of Synovus Financial Management Services, an $8 billion financial service organization.

He brings successful entrepreneurship and wealth management skills to the firm and leverages his understanding of wealth growth and sustainability in servicing his relationships. Drew focuses on long-term investment strategies for his clients, using a combination of traditional and alternative investment vehicles to create customized programs for each relationship.

Outside of work he serves on the Lionheart School Board of Directors and until recently he served as the Treasurer and Board Member of the Centers for Disease Control Foundation.

Drew is a graduate from Furman University and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.

Chris Kowal, CFP®

Chris originally joined the firm in October 2006. He attended Wake Forest University, graduating in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in business and a minor in international studies. He completed the Executive Program for Financial Planning Certification at the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business in 2008 and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. He is also a past Board Member of the Georgia chapter of the Financial Planning Association.

Chris is an associate member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants – Personal Financial Planning Section and is also a co-founding member of the Young Advisers Network within the AICPA-PFP Section. Chris is also a 2016 graduate of the Schwab Executive Leadership Program. In 2024, Chris was named one of Forbes Best-In-State Atlanta High Net Worth Advisors.

In his free time, Chris is an active member of the Marist School alumni association, serving on the Service and Spirituality committee on the alumni board. He is also a trustee of the Cherokee Employee Scholarship Foundation (“CESF”).

He is an accomplished pianist and enjoys golf, traveling, and spending time with his wife Meredith and four children, William, Amelia, Leighton, and Wells (and Bernese Mountain dog Finn!).

Kevin Kraus, CFP®, CPA

Kevin is a Principal who joined Homrich Berg in 2018 after leading an independent wealth management firm for 17 years that merged with HB. Before joining Homrich Berg, Kevin was the founding partner of Compass Financial Consulting, a fee-only wealth management firm in Atlanta, Georgia where he served as the financial guide to high-net-worth families providing coordinated financial, tax and investment strategies. He specializes in the areas of executive compensation, small business strategies, estate planning, and charitable planning. Kevin has been guiding high-net-worth clients ranging from Fortune 500 executives to small business owners and professional athletes since 1994. He takes a collaborative approach in working with clients and their other advisors, with the ultimate goal of moving clients to their financial summits safely and efficiently while enjoying the adventure. He also contributes his time to several family foundations throughout the country by participating on their boards.

Kevin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Stetson University. Kevin spent several years in public accounting with Price Waterhouse where he earned his Certified Public Accountant designation. Feeling the need to work with clients on a more collaborative basis, Kevin left Price Waterhouse to join Ronald Blue & Co., a national wealth management firm. While at Ronald Blue & Co, he earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.

Kevin and his wife have three children and live in Woodstock, Georgia. They are active members of First Baptist of Woodstock. In his free time, Kevin is on a mission to accomplish his six-page “bucket” list, enlisting friends, family, and even clients to join the adventure. He has slept in an ice hotel (yes, it was cold), competed in the National Toboggan Championships (finished dead last), raced stock cars at the Indianapolis Speedway, and competed in the first day of the Iditarod.

Stephanie Lang, CFA

Stephanie joined Homrich Berg in 2005 and was named Chief Investment Officer in 2014. Stephanie oversees a team of professionals within the Investment Department of HB and is responsible for all investment matters including asset allocation, the selection and monitoring of traditional and alternative investments, as well as the research efforts for HB’s internal private fund-of-funds. She also chairs the firm’s Investment Committee.

Stephanie has more than 25 years of experience in the investment industry. Prior to Homrich Berg, Stephanie was a portfolio manager for Bank of America’s private bank. While at Bank of America, she managed assets for individual and family trusts, charitable trusts, and foundation and retirement accounts. Prior to Bank of America, Stephanie was in equity research with Robinson Humphrey, where she covered technology and media companies.

During her career, Stephanie has often been a resource for the media covering the world of finance and investments, including being quoted in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, Financial Advisor, and Citywire. Stephanie has also served on numerous panels at industry conferences and has been a repeat guest on CNBC, Bloomberg, and FoxNews.

Stephanie earned a master’s in business administration from Georgia State University and a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Georgia. Stephanie is a member of the CFA Institute and on the board of trustees for CFA Society Atlanta. Stephanie is also a member of the RIA Advisory Board for JP Morgan and iCapital. She is active in the community serving on the Investment Committee for two local non-profit organizations, Mercy Care and Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta.

Stephanie lives in Dunwoody with her husband Chris and two daughters.

Wayne Moss, CFP®

Wayne has spent his entire career serving as the personal wealth advisor to affluent families and individuals throughout the country. He leads a team of professionals at Homrich Berg that assist clients in the development of comprehensive wealth management strategies. His counsel includes custom guidance in all areas of the wealth management complex. He specializes in developing and implementing personalized investment strategies, retirement transition planning, individual income tax planning, estate planning, and executive compensation.  Wayne has led client service teams in advising Fortune 500 corporate officers, entrepreneurs, and individuals who have experienced sudden wealth (inheritance, lottery, business liquidity, divorce, etc.).

Wayne joined Homrich Berg in 2008 and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. He has been a member of the fee-only National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) as well as the Financial Planning Association (FPA). He graduated Cum Laude from Shorter University in Rome, GA with a degree in Finance and a minor in Economics.

An active member of his community, Wayne has served as the President of the Rotary Club of Woodstock and currently acts as the club Treasurer. He is involved with many local organizations in Cherokee County .

In his free time, Wayne enjoys staying active, traveling, spending time with family, reading, and sports.

Tricia Mulcare, CFP®, CPA, PFS

Tricia joined Homrich Berg in 2003 after spending four years with Ernst & Young. While at E&Y, in addition to becoming a CPA, Tricia led teams within the federal tax consulting group to determine research and development tax credits for major corporations throughout the Southeast. Originally from New Jersey, Tricia earned the Girl Scout Gold Award (equivalent to the Eagle Scout) before attending Indiana University. While in Bloomington, in addition to earning her bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting, she became an avid college basketball fan.

While Tricia works with a wide range of clients, she has a particular passion for working with women (older, single, widowed, and divorced). Tricia enjoys speaking with groups about the lessons she has learned after years of working with women who have navigated a recent transition and find themselves “suddenly single”.  In addition to writing multiple articles for Atlanta Woman magazine, Tricia has given a “Financial Planning 101” presentation to various women’s groups and student groups. Tricia served on the Advisory Board for Visions Anew (a local non-profit that empowered divorcing women to successfully create and achieve a new vision for their lives) for many years and has appeared on the Visions Anew radio show “Divorce Resource.”

Tricia graduated from the Georgia Society of CPAs Leadership Academy in 2007 and served on the Leadership Committee of the Estate and Financial Planning Section. After serving as President for several years, Tricia currently serves on the Advisory Board of ProWIN – a women’s networking group in Atlanta with the mission of “Building Business by Building Relationships.” In addition, Tricia has also served on the March of Dimes Executive Leadership Team. She was the Treasurer for the Atlanta Chapter of the I.U. Alumni Association for 10 years and is an active member of the Buckhead Chapter of P.E.O., a philanthropic education organization. Tricia participated in the annual Breast Cancer multi-day walks for many years and volunteered with Susan G. Komen for the Cure Greater Atlanta chapter. Tricia is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. In 2015, she was named to the U.S. 40 Under 40 list of top financial advisers by InvestmentNews for her service to clients, leadership, and contributions to the industry.

Tricia, her husband Nicholas and daughters Gianna and Lucy are active members of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church community in Sandy Springs and enjoy following the New York Yankees and Atlanta Braves.  Tricia serves as the “cookie mom” for her daughter’s Girl Scout troop and enjoys working with the girls to develop sales goals, practice sales techniques and ultimately create a financial plan for spending the proceeds generated from the sale on a group activity.

Ben Riddick, CFP®

Ben joined Homrich Berg in 2005 and provides comprehensive wealth management services to some of Atlanta’s busiest individuals. He serves a diverse client base stretching from young professionals to family office clients.  His goal is to help his clients focus on the people, work and projects most important to them by helping navigate their financial lives and build a plan to accomplish their objectives.

Ben is on the firm’s Management Team and Financial Planning Committee.  He is a member of and past Advocacy Chair of the Financial Planning Association of Georgia and a participant in GT Mentor Jackets, an alumni-to-student mentoring program. He is also a 2018 graduate of the Charles Schwab Executive Leadership Program. Ben earned a bachelor’s degree in management with high honors, including certificates in finance and accounting from Georgia Tech. He completed Boston University’s financial planning certification program in 2007 and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.

Jaime Ruff, CFP®

Jaime has been with Homrich Berg since 1999. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Georgia State University and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. His primary specialty is retirement planning, and he works out of HB’s Atlanta and Alpharetta offices.

Jaime is an active member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (“NAPFA”), a professional association of Fee-Only financial advisors. He is a past leader of NAPFA’s Atlanta Study Group, past chair of its South Region Board, and recently chaired a national conference for the association. He routinely leads group discussions among NAPFA-member firms and serves on various planning committees of the association.

A father of three, Jaime is a volunteer leader with the Boy Scouts of America and the Sons of the American Revolution. His interests include muscle cars, playing the guitar, and genealogy.

John Taylor, CFP®, CFA

John “JT” has spent his long-term career working with wealthy individuals, families, foundations, and institutional clients. JT leads a client service team at Homrich Berg where he provides advice in the areas of investment management, retirement planning, risk management, income tax, and estate planning. One of JT’s primary goals is to help clients feel empowered and make more informed decisions so they can be the best possible stewards of their wealth.

He joined HB in 2007 and has been a principal of the company since 2017. In addition to his primary job functions, he has been recognized by HB for his commitment to technology and innovation, leading our internal IDEA team specializing in creating efficiencies and automation within HB.

JT attended the University of Georgia where he remains active in alumni events and sporting events. He is an avid supporter of the UGA financial planning program through a variety of capacities which have included lectures, Microsoft Excel labs, panel discussions, and alumni advisory board membership. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ professional and a member of the CFA Institute.

He was named UGA’s FACS 100 Centennial Honoree by The College of Family and Consumer Sciences in 2017. In 2020 he received the Distinguished Financial Planning Alumni Award from the University of Georgia’s Financial Planning program.

JT and his wife Ruth live in Chastain Park with their three kids (Audrey, Brynn, and John) and dog Frodo. When not in the office you can find JT looking for many outdoor adventures like hiking, fishing, traveling, and golfing.

Lee Van Leuvan, CFP®

Lee joined Homrich Berg in the Spring of 2013.  Prior to joining HB, Lee was the President of LVL Financial, a financial planning and advisory firm formed in 1993.  Lee started as a Financial Professional in 1978 and became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional in 1987 serving her clients in that capacity ever since.

Lee is married to Dick Van Leuvan and together they have four adult children.

Frank Waterson, CFP®

Frank has spent his entire career working with wealthy individuals, families, and foundations.  Frank leads a team at Homrich Berg serving as the family CFO for select clients throughout the country.  He provides planning advice in the areas of investment management, retirement planning, risk management, income tax and estate planning.  One of Frank’s primary goals is to help free up time for clients, so they can focus on the areas that matter to them most.

Prior to joining Homrich Berg, Frank began his career developing comprehensive financial plans and advising Fortune 500 executives with The Ayco Company, a Goldman Sachs company.  A significant amount of time was spent on employee benefits, income tax planning and wealth transfer strategies.

Frank is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and a member of the Fernbank Museum’s Corporate Leadership Council.  He has been a member of the fee-only National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) as well as the Financial Planning Association (FPA).  He graduated Cum Laude from Siena College in Loudonville, NY.

Frank and his wife, Sara, live in the City of Decatur with their two children. In his free time, Frank enjoys traveling, spending time with his family, reading and hiking.
