Kevin is a Principal who joined Homrich Berg in 2018 after leading an independent wealth management firm for 17 years that merged with HB. Before joining Homrich Berg, Kevin was the founding partner of Compass Financial Consulting, a fee-only wealth management firm in Atlanta, Georgia where he served as the financial guide to high net worth families providing coordinated financial, tax and investment strategies. He specializes in the areas of executive compensation, small business strategies, estate planning, and charitable planning. Kevin has been guiding high net worth clients ranging from Fortune 500 executives to small business owners and professional athletes since 1994. He takes a collaborative approach in working with clients and their other advisors, with the ultimate goal of moving clients to their financial summits safely and efficiently while enjoying the adventure. He also contributes his time to several family foundations throughout the country by participating on their boards.

Kevin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Stetson University. Kevin spent several years in public accounting with Price Waterhouse where he earned his Certified Public Accountant designation. Feeling the need to work with clients on a more collaborative basis, Kevin left Price Waterhouse to join Ronald Blue & Co., a national wealth management firm. While at Ronald Blue & Co, he earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.

Kevin and his wife Sue have three children and live in Woodstock, Georgia. They are active members of Church of the Apostles in Atlanta. In his free time Kevin is on a mission to accomplish his six page “bucket” list, enlisting friends, family and even clients to join the adventure. He has slept in an ice hotel (yes, it was cold), competed in the National Toboggan Championships (finished dead last), raced stock cars on the Indianapolis Speedway, and competed in the first day of the Iditarod.
