In the Investment Insight video link below, we discuss that although the Fed may have paused on additional rate hikes, Fed Chair Jay Powell has stated many times that the Fed is data-dependent and that it will decide at each meeting whether additional tightening is needed to slow down the economy in its battle against inflation. We’ll discuss one of the key indicators, unemployment, that we believe the Fed is monitoring to make that decision.
