Saul joined Homrich Berg in July 2024 as a Specialist, Client Services Operations. He works with the client service teams to assist with money movement, account paperwork, and meeting preparations.
Prior to joining HB, Saul was a Wealth Support Specialist at Truist Wealth where he worked directly with clients and supported the relationship management team. He also was a Universal Banker at some local Truist branches in Buckhead and Brookhaven.
Saul graduated from the University of North Dakota with a B.B.A. in Marketing.
He lives in Buckhead and enjoys spending his free time cooking and traveling with friends. His favorite destination is Mexico City.
Evan Byers, CFA, CFP®, CAIA
Evan currently serves as a Principal in the firm’s HB Family Office & Institutional Services division. He offers clients more than 13 years of comprehensive wealth management experience, serving as an advisor to institutions, non-profit organizations, and high-net-worth individuals (including multi-generational family offices, corporate executives, and entrepreneurs). Prior to joining HB, Evan was an Investment Strategist for SunTrust Bank. In that role, he managed client portfolios for both ultra-high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients. Prior to this role, Evan served as an Investment Associate at GenSpring Family Offices, SunTrust’s multi-family office subsidiary, which provides independent advice to ultra-high net worth families.
Evan holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Marketing from the University of Kentucky and a master’s degree from Xavier University. He is also a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.
Evan maintains a volunteer position with InheritGA – The Georgia Trust for Historical Preservation and enjoys spending time participating in various financial literacy initiatives sponsored by the CFA Society of Atlanta. He lives with his wife (Paige), son (Baer), and their nine-year-old Goldendoodle (Jax) in Buckhead.
Lydia Knoll
Lydia joined Homrich Berg as an Associate within the Financial Planning team in April 2024. She assists in developing comprehensive financial and investment strategies so that families can gain confidence in navigating their financial decisions.
Before joining HB, Lydia served as a Client Service Associate at Wealth Enhancement Group. She has experience in retirement planning services from her time at Cerity Partners.
Lydia received her B.S. in Economics with a minor in Peace, Justice & Conflict Studies from DePaul University.
She currently lives in Sandy Springs and enjoys traveling home to Minnesota to visit family and spending time with friends and her dog.
Garrett Mashburn
Garrett joined Homrich Berg as an Associate in June 2024. He works alongside HB advisors to support clients with their financial strategies.
Before joining HB, Garrett interned with Twickenham Advisors in Huntsville, AL with their Wealth Management division.
Garrett received his B.S. in Business Administration, majoring in Finance from Auburn University.
He enjoys spending time with family and friends. Growing up as an athlete, he now loves keeping up with stats, news, and the inner workings of professional and college sports—specifically the Boston Celtics and Red Sox, and all Auburn sports. He loves to run and workout as well.
Sean Cook
Sean Cook has served as an advisor and executive in wealth management for over 23 years. He previously served as the Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer at Cedar Rowe Partners (CRP) which later merged with Homrich Berg. CRP grew five-fold under his leadership and was ranked as one of the top 300 independent wealth advisory firms in the US by the Financial Times in 2018. Under his leadership, the firm developed and managed a proprietary hedge fund-of-funds, wealth simulation tools and customized reporting solutions for clients. CRP also provided outsourced reporting and investment consulting service to peer advisors. Sean served for four years on Schwab Institutional’ s Technology Operations and Service Advisor Board.
Sean has a highly varied professional services background. Prior to his career in wealth management, he held management consulting roles with Deloitte Consulting and Index Consulting (later CSC Index), focusing in areas such as financial management, organizational design and business process innovation. At Deloitte, Sean was selected to the Manager’s Advisory Council which provided internal consulting advice to Deloitte’s chairman. He also served as a strategy consultant for Cresap Consulting (now Towers Watson) and held programming and technology integration roles with Hewlett Packard and SMS Data Products, where he supported the Research and Statistics Department of the United States Federal Reserve.
Sean earned an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina where he graduated magna cum laude with a dual major in finance and management science. At Tuck, Sean was selected as one of six Tuck Tycoon’s and was elected as Tuck’s representative to the Dartmouth student government. While at the University of South Carolina he was elected to membership in The Phi Beta Kappa Society, served on the Student Judicial Council and was honored as the school’s “Most Outstanding Business Student”. Sean was an NCAA Division 1 scholarship athlete (soccer) and tutored fellow athletes in business courses.
Sean grew up in suburban Washington, DC and now resides in Johns Creek with his wife, Julia. Their three children are now in college or have graduated. He and Julia have been active members of Perimeter Church for 25 years. Sean has previously served on the boards of Good Samaritan Health Clinic and Perimeter School of Ballet. He enjoys endurance sports and has completed the Boston, Virgina Beach (Shamrock), and Washington DC (Marine Corps) marathons. He played rugby at Dartmouth.
Lauren Forster, CPA
Lauren Forster joined Homrich Berg in December 2019. Lauren is a financial planner working with high-net-worth individuals to achieve their financial goals. Lauren helps clients to be able to make better, more well-informed financial decisions. Lauren is versed in the areas of retirement and cash flow planning, asset allocation, estate planning, wealth transfer, and legacy planning. Lauren spends time understanding client’s goals and objectives, analyzing their current situation, and providing observations, feedback, and education on areas for improvement.
Prior to joining HB, Lauren was a financial advisor for Cedar Rowe Partners. Before Cedar Rowe Partners, she spent seven years as a Wealth Planner at Wells Fargo Private Bank creating and implementing customized wealth plans for high-net-worth individuals and their families. Lauren also spent over two years as a senior tax accountant with Ernst & Young, LLP.
Lauren has her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Accounting, with a specialization in taxation, from the University of Florida. Lauren holds her Certified Public Accountant license in Georgia.
Lauren enjoys a robust family life with her husband, Chad, and three children—Grant, Ben, and Isabelle.
Vanessa Rodriguez
Vanessa joined Homrich Berg in July 2023. She works with the client service operations team to assist with money movement, account paperwork, and meeting preparation. Before joining HB, she worked for Palmat Drywall, LLC as a financial services professional.
Vanessa received her AS in Psychology from Georgia State University – Perimeter College and graduated summa cum laude in May 2020. She received her BS in Psychology from Oglethorpe University in May 2022 and received a presidential scholarship for her outstanding academic performance.
In her free time, she enjoys discovering new restaurants, traveling, going to the gym, making artwork, and spending time with her loved ones and her cat Benito.
Naomi Rosales
Naomi joined Homrich Berg in March 2025 as a Recruiting Coordinator. In her role, she implements key talent acquisition strategies by assisting with all stages of the recruitment process. She supports efficient, seamless, and effective hiring and onboarding practices, while promoting the company’s reputation as an employer of choice.
Before joining HB, Naomi worked as a Recruiting Coordinator at Opendoor for over 2 years. She received her B.A. from Georgia Gwinnett College.
In her free time, Naomi enjoys reading and drinking iced lattes.
Tara Sack
Tara joined Homrich Berg in October 2024 and serves as a Specialist in Client Service Operations. She assists with money movement, account paperwork, and meeting preparations.
Before joining HB, Tara worked in the healthcare staffing industry for five years as a Clinician Deployment Specialist.
Tara graduated summa cum laude from the honors program at the business school at Georgia State University with a B.B.A. in Marketing.
She currently lives in Brookhaven and enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
Randee Senseney
Randee Senseney joined Homrich Berg in December of 2016. She is responsible for greeting clients, managing the client reception area, answering and routing calls and helping with various administrative tasks. She also assists with coordinating firm-wide employee events.
Randee lives in Marietta. In her free time, she enjoys being involved in the ministries of her church, sewing, and reading. Her favorite pastime is enjoying her children and grandchildren.
Kelsey Stone, CFP®
Kelsey joined Homrich Berg in 2014 and is currently a Director. She enjoys working with clients on identifying and prioritizing their financial goals, as well as providing advice on retirement, income and estate planning, risk management, and investments.
In addition to her role as an advisor, Kelsey serves as Homrich Berg’s philanthropy chair. She leads a team that plans opportunities for employees to give back to their local communities.
Kelsey has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Georgia. She completed the Executive Program for Financial Planning Certification at the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business in 2018 and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.
Kelsey lives in Roswell with her husband, John, and their three young daughters. In her spare time, Kelsey enjoys participating in her kids’ activities, volunteering at her church, and attending UGA football games.
Ada Smedley
Ada joined Homrich Berg in 2022 after working with Oakbridge Partners since 2020. She has experience in education administration and earned her Bachelor of Arts in German at Agnes Scott College and Masters of Arts in Teaching at Oglethorpe University. An Atlanta native, she lives in Decatur and enjoys reading, swing dancing, and spending time with her family.
