Josh joined Homrich Berg in October 2018. He is a client-facing advisor who works with a wide variety of clients including consultants, professional athletes, retirees, and working professionals/families. He is also involved with the HB internal mortgage and lending team where he assists with navigating the borrowing landscape, providing loan options, and connecting clients with vetted preferred lenders.
He attended the University of Richmond where he graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor’s degree in Urban practice & Policy and a minor in Business & Communications. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. Prior to Homrich Berg, Josh spent two and half years working as a financial advisor for Merrill Lynch Wealth Management with his primary roles being a team planner and marketing strategist.
Before entering the financial services industry, Josh enjoyed a six-year career in the NFL. His primary contributions were made as a running back and special teams player for the Carolina Panthers (2010-2012) and Atlanta Falcons (2012-2014). He also spent time working in the NFL front office as a scout for the Detroit Lions. Josh is still involved with the NFL as a frequent chapel speaker, volunteer at Atlanta Falcons events, and participant in NFL alumni activities.
Josh enjoys volunteer coaching youth sports, watching the Atlanta Braves, and spending time with his wife and three children (Levi, Caleb, and Kendall).
