John joined Homrich Berg in 2020 to serve as VP of Technology. He relocated from Colorado where he was a senior consultant with a leading cybersecurity firm. He joined to enhance client services and operations at Homrich Berg through the more effective use of technology while building on their overall security posture.
Before joining Homrich Berg, John founded and developed an IT consulting firm which provided IT services to a number of wealth management firms, family offices and multi-family offices. After successfully leading the firm through its acquisition, John served in several roles including Senior Director of Operations for RapidFire Tools and also served in security consulting roles for Intel Security, McAfee and Herjavec Group.
John graduated from Georgia Tech in 1999 where he discovered his passion for all things IT. He lives in Johns Creek with his wife and 2 boys. He enjoys mountain hikes with his wife, playing and coaching soccer and the occasional snowboarding trip out west.
