Brad joined Homrich Berg in September 2024 as a Principal in the HB Family Office division. He specializes in delivering comprehensive wealth management strategies to ultra-high-net-worth families and family offices. With extensive experience in complex investment management, financial planning, tax strategy, estate planning, philanthropic initiatives, and family governance and education. Brad is adept at addressing the unique needs of his clients. His expertise in investment management enables him to provide a holistic approach, including customized asset allocations, investment selection, asset location strategies, risk management, and comprehensive performance reporting. Additionally, he has a robust background in private and alternative investing, further enhancing his ability to serve the needs of ultra-high-net-worth clients effectively.

Before joining HB, Brad served as Senior Vice President at Truist Wealth within the GenSpring segment (formerly GenSpring Family Offices), where he was responsible for the investment experience of approximately 25 families with assets exceeding $1.5 billion.

During his tenure, Brad was a member of GenSpring’s portfolio construction group and the NextGen committee, and he contributed to the family symposium steering committee. He also played a role in developing content for the firm’s family office services group and was a featured speaker at the firm’s numerous symposiums, NextGen conferences, and learning series focusing on topics such as next generation investing, behavioral and thematic investing, family office dynamics, and entrepreneurship.

Brad began his career at United Bankshares, where he initially served as a credit analyst, underwriting the bank’s most complex transactions with a primary focus on the commercial real estate and oil and gas sectors. He subsequently advanced into a management development role, gaining significant experience across all wealth management departments, including operations, compliance, sales management, and executive leadership. His performance ultimately led to his role as Principal of the bank’s dually registered broker-dealer and RIA subsidiary.

Brad graduated from West Virginia University with a B.S. in Accounting and Finance. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Tampa Bay.
He enjoys spending time with his wife, three children, and adopted border collie, traveling, being outdoors, and playing golf.
