Drew LaGrande, J.D., LL.M.

Drew joined Homrich Berg in September 2024 as a Managing Director and Family Wealth Specialist in the HB Family Office division. He brings over 20 years of experience advising ultra-high-net-worth families on comprehensive wealth management. Drew’s role involves tailoring advice based on each client’s unique lifestyle and legacy goals to address both family-wide and individual needs. Utilizing HB’s holistic approach, Drew ensures effective planning by offering ongoing, personalized support in areas such as tax-efficient wealth transfers, business and estate planning, and asset protection.

Drew began his career as an estate planning attorney with Nelson & Nelson, PA in North Miami Beach, FL, where he provided counsel on states, trusts, trust and probate administration, tax planning, business succession, asset protection, and planned giving. He later returned to Tampa/St. Petersburg area to join Gassman, Crotty & Denicolo, PA, where he focused on tax planning and asset protection. Drew then moved his practice to Akerman Senterfitt, becoming a partner in the trusts and estates department in 2008.

In 2012, Drew transitioned to PNC Family Wealth as a Senior Wealth Planner, continuing in similar roles with GenSpring SunTrust Private Wealth and Truist Wealth before joining HB. He discovered that by thoroughly listening to clients and understanding their goals and objectives, their advisory teams could create and implement plans that clients understood and appreciated.
Drew is a member of the Florida Bar Association (Real Property and Probate Tax sections) and has contributed to several publications as an author and editor on various planning topics.
He and his wife have two adult children and in his spare time enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and hiking.

Joanna Irwin

Joanna joined Homrich Berg as Chief Marketing Officer in 2024. In this role, she is responsible for developing and leading the firm’s marketing strategy, focused on fueling strategic growth through brand building and digital marketing.

Before joining HB, Joanna served as the Global Chief Marketing Officer for Randstad, the world’s largest talent company, from 2017 to 2023. Prior to that, she spent 10 years at Invesco, one of the world’s leading global investment management firms, where she was Chief Marketing Officer, North America. Before Invesco, she was Vice President with Merrill Lynch, where she served in marketing, e-commerce, and product leadership roles.

Joanna serves on the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce CMO Advisory Board, the Georgia State University Marketing Roundtable, the American Marketing Association Atlanta Chapter Advisory Board, and the Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF) Georgia Board. She previously served on the Board for the Professional Association for Investment Communication Resources. Joanna is an Advocate with OnBoard and an active mentor to future women leaders.

She is a cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she earned a BA degree in psychology and radio, television, and motion pictures.

Joanna enjoys walking in her neighborhood, attending live music events, and spending time with her husband and two children.

Andrew Page

Andrew Page joined Homrich Berg in April 2024 as the Head of Corporate Development. In this role, he will work closely with the CEO and leadership team on firm-level strategic initiatives, including M&A opportunities that align with HB’s values and overall growth strategy.

Before joining HB, Andrew was a Director at Ancora where he advised the CEO on growth opportunities for the firm including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, capital raising opportunities, and new market entrances. Previously, Andrew was a member of Focus Financial Partners’ investment team where he identified, evaluated, and executed investment opportunities in the financial services sector. He began his career in investment banking with Colebrook Capital.

Andrew received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics, with honors, from the Tobin School of Business at St. John’s University.

In his spare time, he enjoys traveling with his family, skiing, and spending time outdoors.

Michael A. Woocher, CFP®, J.D.

Michael A. Woocher joined Homrich Berg in April 2024 as a Principal and Chief Advisory Officer. In this role, he will lead the firm’s accomplished group of financial advisors, position the firm for continued growth by developing its next generation of advisors, and attract and integrate new advisors related to future strategic hires and acquisitions. Michael will also stay directly connected to the client experience by advising a select group of HB Family Office client relationships.

Prior to joining HB, Michael was Managing Director at Bernstein Private Wealth Management from 2015-2024, leading its Atlanta office and serving as lead advisor for a small group of distinguished families. Michael was an executive and advisor at SunTrust Bank and GenSpring Family Offices, its ultra-high-net-worth family office affiliate, from 1997-2014, a tenure which included roles as President of GenSpring’s Buckhead Family Office and later as GenSpring’s Head of Client Development. Michael has been guiding wealthy families on investments, income and transfer tax planning, risk management, philanthropy and family engagement, governance, and communication for more than 25 years.

Michael graduated from Emory University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He received his Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Georgia School of Law. He is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. Michael is an active participant in the Atlanta community. He is a current Board Member and incoming Chair of the Endowment Committee of The Lovett School. He previously served on the Boards of the Atlanta History Center, the William Breman Jewish Heritage Museum, and the Friends of the First Tee of East Lake. He is a member of the Atlanta Estate Planning Council and Fiduciary Section of the State Bar of Georgia.

Michael lives in Buckhead with his wife Katherine. They have four sons and a Golden Retriever named Herschel (Go Dawgs!). When not in the office, Michael enjoys time with his family as well as golf, fishing, cooking, and exploring small towns throughout the south.

 

Jonathan Farr, CFA

Jonathan joined Homrich Berg in October 2023 and is currently a Director, Private Markets within the Investment department, where he leads the diligence efforts for private equity and private credit opportunities for our clients. HB has invested across the spectrum of strategies within both asset classes, including buyouts, growth equity, direct lending, distressed, and niche strategies.

Before joining HB, Jonathan was a Vice President in Callan’s alternatives consulting group where he consulted with the firm’s institutional clients about all aspects of their private market programs. Prior to Callan, he served in the investments department at Southern Company, where he focused on investments across asset classes for the company’s pension plan and charitable foundations.

Jonathan received his B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Georgia where he graduated magna cum laude.

In his free time, Jonathan enjoys mountain biking in North Georgia and spending time with his wife and son.

 

Billy Levine

Billy Levine is a Principal in the HB Family Office division. He works with a variety of wealthy families to manage the responsibilities and opportunities of their wealth across generations. Billy brings over 19 years of experience in wealth management to his clients, serving as a lead advisor to multi-generational families, executives, and business owners.

Before joining HB, Billy was a Senior Wealth Advisor at Truist Wealth, managing the Atlanta office of SunTrust Private Wealth for 3 years and then serving as lead advisor for a small group of distinguished families. Prior to SunTrust, he was an Executive Director in the Atlanta office of JP Morgan Private Bank. Billy’s career in financial services includes his role in investment banking with SunTrust Robinson Humphrey where he delivered M&A and capital raising advice to growth companies and family businesses.

An Atlanta native, Billy is deeply committed and involved in civic activities in the Atlanta community. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Westminster. He is also a Life Member of the Winship Cancer Institute Advisory Board and served as a prior Board Chair. Previously, he served on the Board of Directors of the Atlanta Speech School and was a prior Board Chair. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Atlanta and has served in a variety of club leadership positions. He serves on the American Jewish Committee’s Atlanta Board of Councilors as well as the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Board of Advisors. Billy is an active member of The Temple, where he is the Chair of the Lynne & Howard Halpern Endowment Fund Board.

Billy earned his BA in Economics from Boston University and his MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business with a concentration in finance and accounting.

In his free time, Billy enjoys traveling, golf, skiing, musical theater, and pretty much any Atlanta sports team.

 

Alex Arnold

Alex joined Homrich Berg in November 2023 as a Director within the HB Family Office. He helps ultra-high-net-worth families navigate every aspect of their financial lives, making complex decisions more manageable and meaningful. Alex brings over 17 years of experience in investment management and estate planning to his clients, serving as an advisor to multi-generational families, executives, and business owners.

Before HB, Alex was a Wealth Advisor with SunTrust, which then became Truist Wealth, for 11 years, where he worked with high-net-worth families to address their investment management, financial planning, banking, and credit needs. Prior to this role, he spent six years at Wachovia within the Private Banking group providing comprehensive advice to affluent clients.

Originally from Manchester, UK, Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in History from University College London.

He lives in Candler Park with his wife and two sons and enjoys traveling, music, and reading.

Bill Cleveland, CPA, CFP®, PFS

Bill has served in an advisory capacity role for over 20 years. He takes great pride in putting his clients first and surrounds them with a team of advisors who will do the same. He is also committed to professional and personal development.

Bill started his career as a senior associate with PriceWaterhouseCoopers. After two years he started working as an associate with Homrich Berg in which he supported advisors to assist clients with their financial planning and investment needs. Bill went on to start his own wealth management firm, Calvary Wealth, in 2004. Calvary Wealth was created with the premise that trust is essential, and client’s need to trust their advisor’s judgement, knowledge, and ability. After many years of successfully serving clients, Bill chose to merge Calvary Wealth with Homrich Berg in 2023.

Bill received his Bachelor of Business Administration with an Accounting concentration from The University of Georgia, his MBA in Financial Planning and Finance from Georgia State University – J. Mack Robinson College of Business, is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, a Certified Public Accountant, and a Personal Financial Specialist.

Bill is an active member of the Bar Study Group, meeting twice a year with fellow professionals, who are dedicated to improving their knowledge base. He is a National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) member, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) member, Heritage Academy Board Member, and works with the Kingdom Here Ministries. Because of his contribution mindset and commitment to our nation’s future, Bill has a passion for being a mentor and role model for kids. He participates in a mentoring and coaching program for elementary and middle school boys and is also a baseball coach.

In his spare time Bill enjoys traveling, playing golf, and spending time with friends and family.

Travis McKinney

Travis joined Homrich Berg as Chief Compliance Officer in 2022 and has worked in Wealth Management since 2005. Prior to joining Homrich Berg, he served as Chief Compliance Officer for Gratus Capital. He is responsible for the compliance program and all regulatory compliance matters for the firm.

Travis holds a BS degree in Finance from the University of Tennessee and lives in southwest Atlanta with his dog, Charlie. In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis, world travel, running and long Beltline walks with Charlie.

Abbey Flaum, J.D., LL.M.

Abbey joined Homrich Berg after 16 years of law practice devoted to estate, gift and charitable planning, probate, trust and estate administration, pre/post-marital planning and business succession planning. As a Principal in the HB Family Office division, Abbey serves as our Family Wealth Strategist applying the company’s holistic approach to each client’s planning, and she provides clients with ongoing, personalized guidance on tax-efficient wealth, business and estate planning strategies.

As a Shareholder in her previous firm, Abbey earned many awards for her work, but she takes the most pride in her ability to uniquely engage with her clients, listen to and empathize with their individual needs, and translate discussions into a meaningful plan that is representative of her clients’ personal wishes, family and tax-oriented goals and best interests.

Abbey enjoys educating others about topics relevant to their lives, and both writes and lectures on a variety of topics, including estate and tax planning, philanthropy, complex gift planning structures, planning for the newly single individual, planning for aging and longevity, planning for modern family structures and the interplay of family law and estate planning.

A native New Yorker, Abbey holds a Bachelor of Arts, Summa Cum Laude, from Arizona State University, a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from the University of Miami School of Law, and a Masters of Law (LL.M.) in Taxation, with honors, from the University of Alabama School of Law. Abbey is a member of the American, Georgia and Atlanta Bar Associations. She is also a member of the Atlanta Estate Planning Council, for which she served as a Board Member, chairs the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Legacy Advisor Council, co-chairs the Advisory Council for Jewish Home Life Communities, and serves on the Planned Giving Committee for Pace Academy and on the Board of the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta.

Abbey lives in Buckhead with her son, Jack, daughter, Ryan, and love of her life, Matt.

Isaac Bradley, J.D., CPA, CFP®

Isaac Bradley is the Director of Financial Planning at Homrich Berg. He uses his breadth of knowledge to work closely with HB client service teams on retirement, estate, insurance, tax, business transition, and charitable planning issues. He is responsible for creating scalable resources for advisors, ensuring they have access to the latest relevant information, and implementing consistent planning processes.

Prior to joining Homrich Berg, Isaac was a Senior Wealth Planning Strategist with Wells Fargo in their Atlanta office where he worked with clients to develop plans and implement solutions based on a thorough understanding of their personal goals and objectives. Prior to working at Wells Fargo, he was an attorney at Lynch & Eatman, LLP for eight years, practicing in the areas of estate planning, tax, general business, and commercial real estate. Prior to working at Lynch & Eatman, LLP, Isaac was an accountant with KPMG, LLP. He has been in the financial services industry for more than 15 years.

Isaac earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and English from Brevard College, and a Juris Doctor and Master of Accounting from The University of North Carolina. He is a past Chair and active member of the NCBA Tax Section (2009 – present) and also holds the Certified Public Accountant designation. Isaac is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.

Isaac and his wife Lucy have two children, Wren and Woods. He enjoys spending time outside with his family and stays in shape trying to keep up with his kids.

Cindy Wilson, CFP®

Cindy joined Homrich Berg as a Director in June 2022. In this role, she provides investment strategy and financial planning services to individuals and families aiming to optimize their wealth accumulation and preservation. Cindy also navigates complex financial landscapes, offering advice on investments, tax planning, and estate management to help clients achieve their financial goals. In addition to serving clients, Cindy is the current President and Founding Member of the Homrich Berg Toastmasters Club, the current President of the HB Women’s Leadership Network, and a member of the HB DEI committee.

Before HB, Cindy spent nearly 15 years with Wealth Enhancement Group/JOYN. She started her career with RBC Dain Rauscher in 2004.

Cindy earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California and an MBA with a Finance emphasis from Pepperdine University. In 2012 she obtained her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. Since starting as an advisor, she has also been awarded the Five Star Professional award five times.

Outside of work, Cindy can be found with her husband, two dogs, four kids, and two grandchildren usually on some type of court or field.  Even with a busy work and family life, she has found time to volunteer as a soccer coach, Girl Scout leader, and member of the PTO. When sports aren’t in full swing, Cindy likes to travel and tackle the occasional home improvement project (preferably one that requires power tools).
