Alex joined Homrich Berg in January 2025. He works on the financial planning team, assisting advisors with creating and implementing tailored financial recommendations for clients.

Before joining HB, Alex worked as a Financial Planning Associate with Chamberlain Financial Advisors, a small RIA in Decatur, GA. He worked alongside the principal advisor, developing financial plans for clients and assisting in client service and communication.

Alex earned his Bachelor’s degree in Financial Planning from the University of Georgia. He passed the CFP^® exam in November 2024 and is currently working on the experience hours to complete the designation.

In his free time, Alex enjoys playing guitar, spending time with family and friends, running, reading, and cheering on the Atlanta Falcons.

Cambria joined Homrich Berg as an Associate in January 2025. She assists in developing comprehensive financial and investment strategies for families and individuals.

Before joining HB, Cambria served as client service manager for CIBC Family Office, where she provided comprehensive client service and account administration for high-net-worth individuals, families, and foundations. Additionally, she was a practice manager at Lincoln Financial Advisor’s, where she supported a team of five financial planners, managed business operations, and completed client financial planning analysis. Prior to her time at Lincoln, she served as a client service coordinator at Ameriprise Advisory.

Cambria earned a Bachelor’s degree in Music Business Management from Berklee College of Music and holds the Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM (CRPC®) designation.

In her spare time during the winter season, Cambria is an avid snowboarder. She also enjoys attending local live music performances.

Nate joined Homrich Berg in December 2024 as a Senior Associate. He assists HB’s Principals in their research, presentation, and implementation of planning strategies for clients.

Prior to joining HB, he worked as a Financial Advisor for another Atlanta-based firm, where he focused on delivering comprehensive financial planning and tax-advantaged savings strategies.

He is a graduate of Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland, where he double majored in Business Management and Economics. He earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2020 and continues to look for more opportunities to further his education.

When Nate is not working with clients or studying financial strategies, he enjoys spending time with his friends and family, hiking throughout the Southeast, and sampling some of Atlanta’s renowned local breweries.

Riley joined Homrich Berg in July 2024 as an Associate within the Financial Planning team. He assists in developing comprehensive financial and investment strategies so families can gain confidence in navigating their financial decisions.

Before joining HB, Riley worked as an Analyst at Global Atlantic Financial Group, a private equity-owned insurance company. He was part of a private credit team that helped manage the firm’s $14 billion book of collateralized loan obligations. Riley specifically worked on liquidity management and financial reporting for the portfolio.

Riley graduated from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management with a B.S. in Finance and Marketing with a minor in History.

He currently lives in Buckhead and enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.

Ben joined Homrich Berg in June 2024 as an Associate within the Financial Planning team. He assists in developing comprehensive financial and investment strategies so that families can gain confidence in navigating their financial decisions.
Before joining HB, Ben served as a Wealth Management and Investments intern at Eclipse Capital Management in St. Louis, MO.
Ben received his B.S.B.A. in Finance from Samford University.
He currently lives in Marietta and enjoys traveling, golfing, and spending time with friends and family.

Nzube joined Homrich Berg as an Associate within the Financial Planning team in June 2024. In this role, he contributes significantly to formulating comprehensive financial plans, conducting projection analysis, facilitating estate planning, performing tax reviews, and devising investment strategies to support the wealth management goals of HB clients.

Before transitioning to a full-time role at HB, Nzube was part of HB’s 2023 summer internship program. Additionally, he worked part-time during his final two semesters of college, accruing a year’s worth of hands-on experience.

Nzube received his B.B.A. in Finance from Georgia State University’s Honors Track. During his undergrad, he actively participated in multiple organizations amongst Georgia State University’s chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) where he held a board seat as Treasurer.

He currently lives in Buckhead and enjoys traveling, playing soccer, and spending time with family and friends.

Garrett joined Homrich Berg as an Associate in June 2024. He works alongside HB advisors to support clients with their financial strategies.

Before joining HB, Garrett interned with Twickenham Advisors in Huntsville, AL with their Wealth Management division.

Garrett received his B.S. in Business Administration, majoring in Finance from Auburn University.

He enjoys spending time with family and friends. Growing up as an athlete, he now loves keeping up with stats, news, and the inner workings of professional and college sports—specifically the Boston Celtics and Red Sox, and all Auburn sports. He loves to run and workout as well.

Lydia joined Homrich Berg as an Associate within the Financial Planning team in April 2024. She assists in developing comprehensive financial and investment strategies so that families can gain confidence in navigating their financial decisions.

Before joining HB, Lydia served as a Client Service Associate at Wealth Enhancement Group. She has experience in retirement planning services from her time at Cerity Partners.
Lydia received her B.S. in Economics with a minor in Peace, Justice & Conflict Studies from DePaul University.

She currently lives in Sandy Springs and enjoys traveling home to Minnesota to visit family and spending time with friends and her dog.

Stephen joined Homrich Berg as an Associate in January 2024. He assists HB Principals in developing comprehensive financial strategies so that families can gain confidence in navigating their financial decisions.

Before joining Homrich Berg, Stephen worked at Frazier & Deeter, LLC in their audit practice. During his time there, he was in charge of overseeing audit engagements, guiding junior staff, and ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulations. He would lead audit teams, perform complex audit procedures, and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and irregularities. By building relationships with clients, he was able to provide recommendations for improving financial reporting processes and internal controls. Stephen also oversaw the preparation of audit reports, summarizing findings, conclusions, and recommendations.

Stephen graduated cum laude from Georgia College and State University with a B.B.A. in accounting and is a  CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. He is an active member of Atlanta Westside Presbyterian Church and an active supporter of Cru (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ).

He currently lives in Morningside with his wife and enjoys traveling, the Georgia Bulldogs, and spending time with family and friends.

Garrett joined Homrich Berg as an Associate within the Financial Planning team in January 2024. He helps families gain confidence in navigating their financial decisions by assisting in developing their comprehensive financial and investment strategies.

Before joining HB, Garrett worked for two years with Grant Thornton LLP in Atlanta. During his public accounting career, he served corporations by calculating and consulting them on their tax expenses and liabilities.

Garrett received his Master of Professional Accountancy from Georgia State University and graduated from Georgia College & State University with a B.S. in accounting. He is a member of The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.

An active member of the community, Garrett serves as a youth volunteer leader at his church, Trinity Westside. He and his wife actively participate in nonprofit organizations such as the Westside Future Fund.

Garrett currently lives around the upper west side of Atlanta with his wife. He enjoys outdoor activities (e.g., hiking, fishing, camping), watching and playing sports (specifically the Georgia Bulldogs), and spending time with family and friends.

Lauren joined Homrich Berg as an Associate in January 2024 as part of the Financial Planning team. She is responsible for developing comprehensive financial and investment strategies for clients.

Before joining HB, Lauren was an Associate Financial Planner with an independent financial planning firm in Atlanta, where she developed comprehensive financial plans for clients.

Lauren graduated from Berry College with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a minor in Economics. She also completed the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business Executive Program for Financial Planning in 2024.

Lauren currently lives in Vinings and enjoys traveling, cooking, playing pickleball, and going on walks while listening to a good podcast.
