Katie Bigley

Katie joined Homrich Berg in 2010 after moving to the area from Charleston, South Carolina. She graduated from the College of Charleston with a degree in Corporate Communication. Katherine serves as a Senior Operations Specialist assisting the Client Service Team with account set up and maintenance, alternative investment paperwork, and money movement. Katie is a member of Virginia Highland Church, Junior League of Atlanta and serves as the Event Coordinator for the College of Charleston Atlanta Alumni Chapter.

In her free time, Katie enjoys exploring Atlanta, reading, spending time with her family and friends, and going to concerts.

Nichelle Dalyrimple

Nichelle joined Homrich Berg in 2006 and serves as Director in the firm’s operations department. She is responsible for overseeing the Complex Transactions Team and Client Service Operations Managers who support Client Service Teams by monitoring and processing custody-related events for HB clients. Nichelle has over 17 years of financial operations experience.

Nichelle holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and is a 2023 graduate of the HB EMERGE Leadership Program, which provides leadership training and empowers individuals to be successful leaders.

In her free time, Nichelle enjoys spending time with her family and photography.

Mary Kendall Durrance

Mary Kendall joined Homrich Berg in January 2018 and is currently an Operations Manager. She works in alternative investment management with a focus on family office clients. Prior to HB, she worked at an investment advisory firm for two years as an Investment Marketing Associate. She graduated from Florida State University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science, double majoring in Finance and Marketing.

In her free time, Mary Kendall volunteers with the Atlanta Ronald McDonald House and enjoys time with friends and family, traveling and watching Florida State football.

Sean Hendler, CPA

Sean joined Homrich Berg in April 2013 in the HB Family Office group. In his current role, he oversees the alternative investment administration and reporting functions within the Operations group.

Before joining HB, Sean worked at Bain, Freibaum & Co., a CPA firm in the New Orleans area, specializing in taxation.

Sean graduated from the University of New Orleans with a bachelor’s degree in both Accounting and Business Administration. He completed his Master’s degree in Professional Accountancy at Georgia State University and is a licensed CPA.

Sean lives in Sandy Springs with his wife, Golda, and dog, Shosh. He is active in his community serving as the Men’s Club treasurer at Or Hadash and on the budget and finance committee of Ramah Darom. In his spare time, he enjoys live music, traveling, movies, and New Orleans Saints football.

Bonnie Holland

Bonnie Holland joined Homrich Berg in 1997 during the formative years of the firm and has 20 years’ experience working at a wealth management company.  She has been a witness to the amazing growth of the firm which is testament of the quality of service we provide and the level of trust our clients place with us.

She is the Operations Director to a dedicated team that is responsible for the firms’ institutional processes such as portfolio management reporting, billing, tracking clients’ investments in private alternatives, securities trading and anything related to our client’s brokerage accounts.  She manages the operations team to ensure individual growth as well as facilitates relationships for the team with other departments by providing optimal customer service.  She leads by being an active member of various firm wide committees including our Client Leadership Committee.

Prior to moving to Atlanta, she lived in Northern Virginia/Washington DC suburb where she was manager of an independent book and record store while taking classes at Virginia Commonwealth University.  She spent her time before that as an army brat moving to a different state or country every three years.

Bonnie lives in Decatur with her husband Larry Holland who is active in the art community, two daughters and their pets.  In her free time, she loves to read as well as travel with her family to as many different countries as she can.

April Jones

April joined Homrich Berg in 2008 and is currently a Senior Manager with the firm. In this role, she oversees the day-to-day operations of the office, managing a team of Administrative Specialists to ensure smooth office relations and efficient business operations. While April has extensive experience in event management, having led the planning and execution of client events for over 15 years, she now focuses on optimizing internal processes and fostering a collaborative office environment. Her problem-solving skills and adaptability continue to be valuable assets in both office management and team leadership.

April holds a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and is a member of the VCU Atlanta Alumni Chapter. She graduated from the HB EMERGE Leadership Program in 2023, a program designed to provide leadership training and empower individuals to become successful leaders. She has been a member of the Junior League of Atlanta and served on the Executive Committee of the American Diabetes Association Atlanta Step Out Walk for several years. Additionally, April was an ambassador for the Georgia Alliance of Early Education for Ready Students (GEEARS), advocating for the importance of quality-rated early childhood education in the metro Atlanta area.

In her free time, April enjoys spending quality time with her family and attending concerts.

Lainey McLellan

Lainey joined Homrich Berg in 2008 and is a Director within Client Service Operations. She has worked for many years with complex clients in the HB Family Office department and oversees day-to-day cash movements, bill pay, custodial and private equity paperwork, household staffing, private foundation accounting, and investment reporting. Lainey has worked in many departments at HB and served on a variety of committees.

Lainey is an avid tennis player, gardener, and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta supporter. As a member of the Ashford Park Friends of CHOA organization, she decorates mailboxes during the holiday season and served as the silent auction chair for the 2016 Boots and Bluegrass Fundraiser. Lainey is an active member of Peachtree Road United Methodist Church and lives in Brookhaven with her husband, Ryan, and their two daughters.

Lainey graduated with a B.A. in Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2004. She also holds a certificate in Coaching Effectively and in Better Business Writing from Emory University and a Financial Paraplanner Certificate from The American College.

Ford Donohue, CFA

Ford joined Homrich Berg in 2014 and currently leads our research and due diligence efforts in both hedge funds and equities.

Ford is the President and a Portfolio Manager of the Peachtree Alternative Strategies Fund, a fund of hedge funds created internally for HB clients who do not pay additional fees to utilize the Fund. In his role as President, Ford is in charge of managing the day-to-day operations of the Fund. In his role as Portfolio Manager, he leads the effort to source new investment ideas and leads the due diligence efforts on potential and existing portfolio investments. He has extensive experience in analyzing the various hedge fund strategies in which we invest including equity long/short, credit, macro, structured credit, and multi-strategy funds, among others.

In addition to managing hedge fund investments, Ford leads research and due diligence of both domestic and international equities. Ford covers both ETF and mutual fund investments in addition to overseeing the portfolio management and implementation of two internally managed single-stock strategies. He is also extensively involved in the development of the firm’s long-term strategic portfolio construction and risk management process.

Ford began his career at Citigroup Global Markets with experience in both equity derivatives and fixed-income markets. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Georgia. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the Atlanta Society of Finance and Investment Professionals.

Dave Kochamba, CFP®

Dave joined Homrich Berg in 2012 after spending over five years in the banking industry. He previously worked in private banking and risk management roles. He is a Principal of the firm and currently serves a diverse client base consisting of working professionals, retirees, and corporate executives.

Dave received a Bachelor of Arts from Clemson University. He completed the University of Georgia’s Executive Program for Financial Planning Certification in 2011 and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.

He is engaged in the local community and served as the co-chair of the Trinity Early Learning Center Parents’ Council, volunteered as a Smyrna T-Ball assistant coach, and led Sunday school at Peachtree Presbyterian Church’s Children’s Program. He is active in alumni relations with Clemson University’s chapter of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity and coordinates their annual golf outing of 100 players on alumni weekend each fall.

Dave enjoys playing golf, attending Clemson football games, following the Atlanta Braves, and spending time with his family at the beach.

Mike Landsberg, CPA, CFP®, CPWA, PFS

Mike joined Homrich Berg in early 2013 and is a Principal of the firm. He works with a wide range of high-net-worth clients, specializing in sophisticated investments, tax planning, estate planning, and philanthropy. He spent three years in investment management and tax planning at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Chicago, IL.

Mike received his B.A. in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame and went on to earn a Master of Taxation from Arizona State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, a Certified Private Wealth Advisor® designee, a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS™), and holds the Claritas Investment Certificate from the CFA Institute. Mike is also a 2020 graduate of the Schwab Executive Leadership Program.

Mike serves as a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants – Personal Financial Planning Division (AICPA PFP) and the Georgia Society of CPAs. He sits on the board of Ur Worth It! as Finance Chair and was selected to the AICPA PFP Executive Leadership Committee. He also volunteers as a Financial Coach for the Catholic Charities of Atlanta.

Mike resides in Buckhead with his wife, Mina, and their sons, Oliver and Oscar. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, traveling, visiting with family, and watching Notre Dame football games.

Patrick McGonigle, CFP®, MPAS®

Patrick joined Homrich Berg in 2014 and is a Principal of the firm, providing advice in the areas of investment management, retirement planning, risk management, income tax, and estate planning. Serving a broad array of clients with a specific focus on corporate executives, law partners, doctors, and retirees, he has substantial experience with executive compensation, concentrated stock positions, private investments, charitable planning, and income tax planning. Patrick implements personalized investment strategies, incorporating private placement investments, equity derivatives, and fixed-income strategies into clients’ portfolios when appropriate.

In addition to ongoing client work, Patrick leads the firm’s Property/Casualty Insurance practice groups and previously served as a subject matter expert within the firm for Medicare and Health Insurance.

Before joining HB, Patrick worked for two independent financial planning firms developing customized financial plans, preparing income tax returns, and handling estate planning and administration issues for high-net-worth families. He earned a bachelor’s degree in financial planning from Virginia Tech and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. Patrick also earned a Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning from the College for Financial Planning and maintains the Master Planner Advanced Studies (MPAS®) designation, a graduate-level credential focused on research-based applications for current practitioners.

Patrick is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and has volunteered with the CFP® Board to help with numerous pro-bono financial advocacy and consumer protection outreach campaigns.

Jeff Rosengarten, CFP®

Jeff joined Homrich Berg in 2011 after interning with the firm.

Jeff earned two Bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Financial Planning from the University of Georgia. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and serves as the firm’s expert on social security and annuities.

An active member in the community, Jeff is a member of Temple Sinai and recently served on the Board of Trustees and currently serves on the Endowment Investment Committee. Jeff also serves on the board of the Atlanta Tax Forum and recently served on the University of Georgia Financial Planning Alumni Board.

Jeff lives in Sandy Springs with his wife, Alexis, and their twin boys, Ari and Julian.
