Josh joined HB Wealth in January 2025 as a Principal after working with WMS Partners for the past six years, where he was most recently Co-CIO. As Managing Director, Research & Family Office Investment Strategy, he helps guide HB’s research in macroeconomics as well as public and private markets. In addition to investment manager research, Josh is involved in asset allocation and long-term investment strategy, particularly as these relate to the needs of complex, multi-generational families. He is also a member of the investment committee.
Before joining HB, he worked at a multi-family office in Washington, D.C., and an asset management firm in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Josh studied History and French at Johns Hopkins University before earning a PhD from Princeton University in Economic History. He is a member of the Baltimore chapter of the CFA Society and teaches an investing class at Johns Hopkins.
Josh enjoys the ocean and the mountains as well as international travel. For fun, he reads travelogues and big, heavy history books.
