Principal & Chief Operating Officer - Client Service
Ben joined Homrich Berg in 2005 and provides wealth management services to some of Atlanta’s busiest individuals. He maintains a diverse client base stretching from young professionals to family office clients and has a broad-based understanding of all aspects of financial planning and investments.
Ben’s dedication to HB and growth from intern to principal has provided a deep background to the firm and his operational strengths have allowed him to naturally progress to our Chief Operating Officer of Client Service. In this role, Ben helps focus the firm’s client service processes, structures and technologies. He is a member of HB’s Management Team and also runs the Client Service Leadership Team among other roles in the firm.
He is a member of and past Advocacy Chair of the Financial Planning Association of Georgia and an active participant in GT Mentor Jackets, an alumni-to-student mentoring program. He is a also a 2018 graduate of the Charles Schwab Executive Leadership Program. Ben earned a bachelor’s degree in management with high honors, including certificates in finance and accounting from Georgia Tech. He completed Boston University’s financial planning certification program in 2007 and is a Certified Financial Planner™.
Ben lives in Dunwoody with his wife Mary Catherine, son James and rescue dog Mason. He enjoys playing guitar and piano and is an avid college basketball fan.
